On the 6th December, the WA Region launched their second event at the Curtain Business School. Titled “Graduate Courses in Procurement 2006”, the event drew 60 professionals and was presented by Guy Callender, a Professor at the Curtain Business School and a CIPSA Steering Group Member. Curtain is one of two organizations who offer Supply Chain courses which are accredited by CIPS and lead to MCIPS (Member). Guy highlighted these programs and his personal observations regarding the growing professionalism in the Purchasing landscape. A continental breakfast and an opportunity to network followed, with everyone agreeing the event was a great success.
