Seeking NSW Committee Members

Your region is seeking people interested in contributing to the profession through participating in the committee. The involvement is primarily through the monthly meetings and with some limited actions required during the year.

All are welcome to come along to our monthly meetings, where we cover the coming events, pertinent issues to NSW and take action to improve the benefits for the NSW Procurement and Supply profession.

Please contact David Sharam on david.sharam@aus.fujixerox.com if you wish to participate or have a point you wish to discuss.

CIPS UK- Membership and Education

At the end of August, CIPS membership worldwide was around 41,000 – well ahead of the institute’s overall target of 38,800 for the financial year ending 31 October 2006. International growth has been particularly strong, and the development of the membership base in Australia and New Zealand has been a significant contributory factor.

Examination entries are breaking records year after year. The May 2006 exam series exceeded the previous series by almost 20% and we anticipate that the May and November exams will top 44,000 entries – the best ever entry level. We are currently taking registrations for the November 2006 examinations and expect another strong entry list.
